Our Proven Paver Installation Process

We make sure to do the paver installation by following the right process and take pride in NOT cutting any corners so that you can enjoy your new hardscape for years to come. Our Paver and Flagstone Installation process consists of the following:

The depth at which you need to dig for paver installation will depend on the specific type of paver you are using and the conditions of the area where you are installing them. Generally speaking, digging down 6-8 inches for pedestrian paver walkways, should be enough (deeper digging is needed if cars will be on the pavers).
Applying and compacting at least 4-6 inches of road mix so that your pavers have a solid foundation to sit on
Applying 1 inch of paver sand
Installing the Pavers
Installing Paver Edging to keep the pavers in place
Applying Polymeric Sand to ensure the pavers interlock
Compact the pavers: Use a plate compactor or hand tamper to compact the pavers and ensure that they are securely in place.
(Optional Step) Clean and seal the pavers: Once the pavers are installed, sweep off any excess sand or jointing material and apply a sealer to protect the pavers and enhance their color.
